Individual counselling
A supportive space to explore what’s going on for you
You may have already tried to manage things on your own or spoken with friends, family, or even online tools, yet still feel overwhelmed or unsure how to move forward. Individual counselling offers a confidential, collaborative space to explore your thoughts, feelings, and experiences in depth.
Talking with a trained therapist can help bring clarity, perspective, and relief. Many clients describe feeling empowered by finally giving voice to what has been held inside.
How counselling can help
Counselling, whether in person or online, provides a unique opportunity to explore your whole self — mind, body and emotional wellbeing. Having space to talk openly with someone trained to listen can help untangle complex or long-standing difficulties and support new ways of understanding yourself.
Clients often find that sharing experiences that have been suppressed or minimised allows new narratives to emerge, helping them feel clearer, lighter, and more grounded.
The counselling process
Counselling is a gradual process that supports you in developing a stronger sense of self. Sessions are usually offered weekly or fortnightly, allowing time for reflection and continuity.
The decision about when to end counselling is always yours. We review progress regularly, and endings are treated with care, offering an opportunity to reflect on insights gained and progress made. Some clients choose to return for sessions on an ad-hoc basis, knowing they have a safe space to return to when needed.
