Individual counselling
A supportive space to explore what’s going on for you in Banbury or online
You may have already tried to work things through on your own or talk to friends or family and are still feeling overwhelmed or unsure how best to approach things, perhaps seeking support from social media or AI.
Private counselling in person or online is unique in offering a collaborative and safe space for you to explore your whole self — mind, body and soul. Talking to someone trained to listen can help to see the wood for the trees and make sense of new or longstanding issues. I often notice how empowered clients feel sharing things which have long been suppressed, enabling new narratives to emerge and aiding clarity.
The counselling process
Counselling is a process to help you gain a stronger sense of self and regular commitment is advised either weekly or fortnightly. The decision of when to end rests with you and we have regular reviews for you to reflect on your sessions and when you’d like to end. Endings are important for many reasons, including a chance to reaffirm the insights you’ve gained. Some clients like to continue counselling on an ad hoc basis to always have a safe space in which to talk through any emerging situations.
